The “Real Housemoms of Douglas County” is a fun, fresh contest for all moms to enter. Moms from around the city will compete in selected areas including, but not limited to, grocery shopping/meal planning, scheduling, carpooling, school lunch-making, and youth sports knowledge. Up to 30 contestants will be randomly selected from those who enter by 11:59 pm on July 31st, 2011. Those contestants will compete in various challenges to earn points. The top 12 finalists will be asked to participate in the 2011 Heritage Parade by walking the parade route on Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 10am-12pm. Following the parade, the competition amongst the finalists will resume at the Qwest Center Omaha. The top six women, based on points, will win prizes.
